Group Bookings

The capacity of the restaurant is 45pax. Tables of 8 guests or less can book directly through the live booking system on our website, and groups of 9pax or more are given the group menu and must fill in our Group Booking Form, available for download below. Bookings are not confirmed until the form is completed and time/date is agreed between our bookings manager and the guests.

All bookings before 8.00 are allocated 2 hours. For parties of 12 or more we offer 2.5 hours. Large parties are accommodated early in the evening at 5.00/5.30, or later from 9.00 for the evening. We offer a 15 minute grace period for late arrivals. After 15 minutes we may have to give your table away. To avoid losing the table, please call us if you will be late or if there are any changes. Incomplete parties cannot wait more than 30min after their booking time to order. For tables of 9 or more we require 48 hours notice for a cancellation. Anything less than the necessary notice will incur a full menu price per person charge if we are not able to fill the table. Final numbers must be confirmed in writing 24 hours prior to the booking date. If the party size significantly decreases without 24 hours notice you may be charged the full menu price per person.

Seating:
At Delahunt we have one standard table that seats up to 14 guests. We can accommodate a group of
16 on two tables of 8 that are directly back-to- back. A group of 20/22 are accommodated on a table of
12/14 and a table of 8 in close vicinity. Our private dining option is our semi-private snug which seats
8pax.

Cancellation Policy

For tables of 5-9 we require written electronic cancellation notice of at least 72hrs before the day of the event, for tables of 10 or more we require 5 days notice. Anything less than the necessary notice will incur a full menu price per person charge if we are not able to fill the table. Final numbers must be confirmed in writing 48 hours prior to the booking date. If the party size significantly decreases without 48 hours notice you maybe charged the full menu price per person.

Seating arrangements and booking times

At Delahunt we have one standard table that seats 10 guests and a high tables that seats 10. Parties more than 10 are accommodated on two or more tables. Our semi­-private snug seats 8pax.

Cocktail Bar

We currently do not take bookings for The Sitting Room as it works on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’d like to have a drink before your meal we recommend arriving 45 minutes before your booking time in the restaurant. Guests who arrive less than 15 minutes may not have time for a drink upstairs and will be brought to their table if it is ready. The busiest time in The Sitting Room is between 8.00-9.00. If you’re dining with us please use the main doors and check in with reception. If you’re calling in only for The Sitting Room please use the door to the right of the restaurant entrance labeled “The Sitting Room.”

Gift Vouchers

We have gift vouchers available for purchase in the restaurant. Unfortunately we are not able to post vouchers as we have had issues in the past with vouchers being tampered with in the post or going missing. We can assist you with purchasing a voucher over the phone (01 598 4880) and hold it for collection for yourself or the person receiving the gift if you are unable to make the purchase in person.

Terms and Conditions

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, which is printed on the Gift Voucher.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Gift vouchers will be subject to verification at time of presentation.
  • Gift vouchers defaced in any way will be invalid.
  • We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions.
